UPCOMING EVENTS
Week of Action!
The mission of Fairfax Tree Rescuers - PRISM is to facilitate a community-wide effort by residents and organizations to stem the epidemic of invasive plants and thereby protect our trees and promote the growth of the life-supporting plants that are native to our ecosystem.
(November 8–16, 2025)
The fun begins with multiple events all around the county! JOIN US at any of the launch events to learn about invasive plants and what you can do to help!
Want to see for yourself what the fuss is all about? Want to learn how to rescue trees? All are welcome at these events!
What to Know Before You Go:
What to Wear: Long-sleeved shirts and long pants to protect against thorns, sturdy shoes, a hat.
What to Bring: Water. See instructions for each event about tools. If you have them, bring clippers, loppers, and/or small saws. If you don’t, most event leaders will have tools you can borrow.
Sign Up: Please use the registration form or link on the calendar to let the event leaders know you are coming.

Registering People for Your Events
It is always wise to request people register for events, both so you can prepare and so you can contact them if your plans change. It is helpful to use a form so you don’t have to post your email on a public calendar. We can provide you with a form that will automatically send you the responses. See [this sample registration form]. Email fairfaxprism@gmail.com to have us create one for you.
